Opening the trunk on a Chevrolet Cruze can be a bit of an irritation, because You cannot do so without the vehicle being in park. If it is, the trunk can be opened via a few different methods. First, You can double-press the trunk release button on Your key fob, and then press the latch release button on the trunk itself. If You don't have a key fob handy, You can achieve the same end by ensuring that all doors are open with the manual electric unlock button inside the vehicle, and pressing the same latch release on the trunk. In either case, You'll need to first ensure that all doors are unlocked and the Cruze is in park, or else the trunk will not release.

You must click the trunk release button on the driver's side door to open the trunk on a chevy cruze. Click the trunk release button on the key fob twice quickly to unlock it. Open both locks, then press the button above the license plate on the trunk or lift-gate.
