The Honda CR-V handles decently well in the snow because it has an all wheel drive system. Your vehicle will drive better in the snow if You do install snow or winter tires on the vehicle. The majority of the power from Your engine goes to the front wheels. That means that most of the horsepower and torque is directly under the heaviest part of the car where the engine is. That gives it better traction in the snow as well. If You do notice that the vehicle is slipping You can lock the all wheel drive system by pressing the button that is on the dash.

The honda cr-v is fine in the snow as it is front wheel drive and the weight of the engine is over the drive wheels.
