The short bed version of this truck has a length of 5 feet, 6 feet, and 8 feet. The bed of an F-250 crew cab can hold weights of up to 4,263 pounds, giving plenty of space and strength to haul a comprehensive steel tool boxAlong the back windshield, or to transport furniture, appliances including refrigerators, washers, dryers, or large deep freezers. You can even fit a king size bed mattress into the back end of this vehicle. Please make sure to always tie down items properly.
The F250 has a crew cab short bed of 6.75 feet. I've never seen one shorter, but perhaps some older model years have a shorter bed. The F150 crew cab has a short bed 5.5 feet.

In Ford, depending on year and what it's called, such as: F150 RegularCab, F150 Supercab, F150 SuperCrew. (6 1/2ft. Or 8ft) Except the Supercrew, which has a 5 1/2ft. Bed, depending on the year. As far as I know, the F250's, had a 6 1/2ft. Bed, and optional 8ft.bed, which we considered to be either a short bed, or long bed truck. The newer Ford's in Full Size, F250's, have probably changed to approximately 7ft., or 8ft. And that depends who is holding the ruler, from outside, or inside the bed. However; The only bed I've seen, at 51/2 ft. , in Ford, is the Supercrew, at least until 2003, it may have changed in 2004 and up!
