A 2005 Toyota 4Runner comes with one of two engine options. The 4.0l inline-6 and the 4.7l v8. The 4.0l inline-6 takeS5.5 quarts of oil while the 4.7l v8 useS6.6 quarts. Both require 5w30 weight of synthetic formulated oil. It is recommended to change Your oil every 7,500 miles or 1 year, whichever comes first. You can extend Your engine life, get better gas mileage, and have better performance if You change Your oil regularly. Routine oil and filter changes help remove particles and sludge from the engine. If the oil isn't changed, Your vehicle's engine will start to have a lot of problems.
