The amount of oil You'll need for Your 2018 Dodge Durango will depend on which one of the three engine options You've got. The 3.6L V6 takeS5.9 quarts of SAE 0W-20, the 5.7L V8 takeS7 quarts of SAE 5W-20, and the 6.2L V8 needS7 quarts of SAE 0W-40. One thing that they all have in common is that You will probably want to use a full synthetic version of those oils if You'd like the best engine protection. A bit of a boost to Your fuel economy is a nice benefit as well. The slightly increased upfront cost is worth it when You consider that You'll be changing Your oil less frequently and You are extending the life of Your engine components. -

As the only 2018 Dodge Durango with a 6.4 liter engine, the SRT holds the most oil at 7 quarts. Also using 7 quarts of oil is the 5.7 liter Durango R/T. The Durango GT, the SXT, the Citadel and the Anodized Platinum are all 6 cylinder, 3.6 liter engines. They require 5.9 quarts.
