The 4.0l v6 base engine for the 2007 Toyota Tundra requireS4.8 quarts of 5w30 oil. The optional 4.7l v8 engine needS6.6 quarts of 5w30 also. The final engine option, the 5.7l v8, useS7.4 quarts of 0w20 or 5w20 oil. All three take synthetic formula based oil. While getting motor oil changed, make sure filters for the same are also replaced. They are the first line of defense against impurities and protect the component. Service intervals and replacing motor oils vary from place to place. Make sure You consult Your mechanic about the ideal time of servicing, or it is always a good idea to refer to Your cars owners manual.
