Ford F-150 owners often opt to install a "leveling" or "lift" kit on their truck. It can be professionally performed or completed as a DIY project. The average cost of a professional leveling installation ranges from $400 to $2,000 in materials and labor and anywhere up to $4,000 if choosing a lift kit. Truck owners generally want to raise the ground clearance of a vehicle to improve its off-roading capabilities or emphasize the truck's rugged appeal. Modified suspension provides drivers with better climbing skills on steep embankments and breakover angles while operating. Leveling and lift kits also offer additional room for larger tires that offer better stability over rough terrain and a more aggressive appearance.

This will depend on the mechanics in your area, but on average, installing a leveling kit will cost you between $100-$250.

Don't get leveling mixed up with lift. A lift kit raises both front and rear above stock height. A leveling kit simply evens out the front. Rear is always higher on trucks due to towing. If towing a vehicle it will be level, if you install a leveling kit the rear end may sag ifthings such as Airbags aren't installed
