The headlights on a 2012 Chevy Malibu, can be adjusted by moving two screws located under the hood on the top of the headlight assembly. A Philips screwdriver will do the trick. The screws are fastened on the top and middle of the light's frame and along the middle of the frame's inside edge. To measure the adjustments, park 1 foot away from the front of a bare wall. Use tape to mark the distance between the ground and the middle of each headlight. Form a "+" with the tape. The center of the tape should coincide with the middle of the lens. Move the vehicle 25 feet away from the wall and switch on the lamps. The driver's beam should fall in the lower right square of the "+" sign, 2 inches below the horizontal line and 2 inches to the right of the vertical. The passenger's beam should shine 2 inches below the horizontal, directly on the vertical. Use the adjustment screws to move the lamp assemblies accordingly.
