There are a few different ways to bleed the Ford Ranger's brakes, but the simplest involves two people and a bit of elbow grease. You should always move from wheel farthest from the master cylinder to the closest, so You'll be going right rear, left rear, right front, left front. The person inside of the cabin should pump the brakes two to three times, then hold. The person outside of the vehicle should open the bleeder when the pedal is depressed, let it bleed off, and then close the valve. If You're alone and have a bit of time, You can try a gravity bleed, which involves opening all four bleeders while not touching the brakes. This typically takeS6 to 8 hours at least. Alternatively, You can pick up a vacuum bleeder and try that method.

To bleed the brakes on a ford ranger first remove the wheels from the vehicle, then take the hydraulic line that goes to the calipers and remove them, you can then pump the brake pedal to purge the lines of air.
