You will come into issues with this part at some time or another. You could face cupping problems. You might run into feathering problems. Premature tire wear is something to be on the lookout for. The part may become loose at some point. Check for holes, in case you run over a nail. Make sure to inspect the tire pressure once a month. This part will need to be replaced eventually. You should change your tires every 30,000 to 50,000 miles or so. You don't want to get into any wrecks on the road.

Start by parking your car on a flat surface. Use wheel chocks under the tires for the bearings you won't be working on. Loosen the lug nuts counterclockwise and lift the wheel using a jack. Unscrew the lug nuts and remove the wheel, then remove the brake caliper. Then remove the dust cover, cotter pin, and castle nut. Remove the rotor, and then unscrew the hub bolts and remove the old hub. Disassemble the hub assembly, then remove races and clean the knuckle, and install new races and new bearings. Then repeat all these steps in reverse.
