How to change a battery in a 2012 chevy equinox?

To change the battery on the 2012 Chevrolet Equinox You will need a flathead screwdriver, popping tool, 10mm deep well socket, socket extension and a 10mm wrench. Next open up the hood and take off the cover to the car's computer by sliding the cover to the right. Unbolt the computer with the socket and the slide it to the right to take it off. Now You will be able to see the battery after takeng the computer off. Next take off the plastic piece above the battery with the popping tool or the screwdriver. Next lift up the plastic piece and the unbolt the brace that is attached to the battery. After unbolting the brace, take off the terminals and then simply pull up the battery, then reverse the process after putting in a new battery.
