Before changing the headlights on a 2014 GMC Acadia You need to gather around some tools first. You will need a T20 Torx driver, small flat blade screwdriver, side cutters, 10-millimeter socket, ratchet and extension. Depending on which headlight You're working on, turn the steering wheel to the opposite direction so that the front of the wheel is pointing in. Next, disconnect the negative battery cable from the battery. The battery is located just behind the passenger seat under the floor. What's the batteries been disconnected remove the splash shield from inside the tire on the side of the car You're working on. Once the back of the headlight is exposed, push in and up on the spring clip and then pull the bulb out. Now disconnect the electrical connection and plug in Your new bulb and repeat the steps in reverse to install.
