To change the rear wiper blade on Your Ford Explorer, You will probably need an 11-inch replacement blade. However, depending on the model year, there's a small chance You'll need a 12-inch one. A few recommended products include Valeo R12F, Bosch A281H, Trico #11-G, and Motorcraft WW-1106. To begin, pull the plastic cover located on the base of the arm off gently, and set it aside. Use one hand to hold the wiper arm and then use the other to push the blade off towards the glass. You'll hear a small pop when it gives way. Line the new blade up so the center of it is aligned with the C-shaped socket on the wiper arm. Push it firmly into the arm until You hear a click. Replace the plastic cover and check to make sure it is working properly.

Start by pulling off the black plastic cover on the base of the wiper arm, and set aside. Lift the rear wiper arm off the window see the old blade, place some fingers between the wiper arm and the old blade. Push the old blade towards the window to pop the mounting bracket off and then line up the new mounting bracket on the new wiper blade. Push the new wiper blade on to the wiper arm until you can hear it pop into place. Put plastic cap over the base of the wiper arm.
