You should plan on changing the oil filter on the 2017 Toyota Camry at least every 7,500 miles if using full synthetic oil and every 5,000 miles or 6 months if employing conventional lubricants. Raise the vehicle using Ramps or jack stands. Locate the oil drain plug on the underside of the vehicle toward the back middle and release with a 14 mm wrench. Allow the old lubricant to drain into a pan positioned beneath the plug. The filter is screwed into the assembly on the driver's side of the vehicle. Loosen its housing with an extension bat and wrench. Some lubricants will drain out with removal. Replace the o-ring on the new filter and screw in to replace.
