In order to remove the bed from a Chevrolet Colorado, You'll need to remove a total of SRxBolts that run from the bed to the frame. Two are located on the rear corners, two are located on the front corners, and two are found at A45 degree angle from the rear two; You may find them under the spare tire. While the four rear bolts come out relatively easy with an impact gun, the front two are torqued very high, so it may take a bit of elbow grease. After You've taken these bolts loose, You'll need to disconnect the tail light harness behind the rear bumper. Pull the tail lights out of the boxAnd set them aside. Find the two TorxBolts and plastic retaining plug near the fuel filler neck, and remove them. Remove the SRxBolts from the front to the back, and then lift the bed from the frame of the truck.
