In the case of snaps, some medium to heavy pressure with a large pry tool (recommend wood or plastic, as to avoid damage) should pop the panel free with MINImal extra work. However, if You have the pop rivet panels, You'll unfortunately need to drill out the rivets in order to gain access. Many drivers report replacing the rivets with threaded inserts and screws for the next time, but You can just as easily use replacement rivets. It's a bit time consuming and You'll need to be precise, but once the rivets are drilled out, the panels should pop right off.
