To reset the security system on the Ford Escape You have a few options. The most common one is to simply pull the battery cable and let it sit for about 30 min. This will force the system to reset itself, and then You will be able to start the car again. The other option is to check the fuse box panel, on the back of the fuse box panel. Find the fuse for the alarm system and pull it. The system will not work now, which can be good or bad depending on if someone tries to steal Your car. To get it working again then You just need to put the fuse back in and then let it reset.

Press the unlock button on your vehicle's key fob to deactivate the alarm.
