Audi vehicles equipped with WiFi or bluetooth capabilities operate on a password basis. Locate the password by accessing the central screen's main menu. Find the telephone tab and scroll until reaching "connect mobile device". Press the right side of the tab where a "+" sign is visible. From a new optically enlarged window You'll be brought to more options. Scroll down until finding "WiFi settings". Click on this and "WiFi" will appear. Click to turn the wireless settings "on" if they are "off". Below the "on" setting, a "network key" option will display. Press on this selection and a new screen will appear. The Audi's password and access points will be displayed for connecting wirelessly with Your device.

Why did I buy this car? It's sufficiently complex that it should just be printed in German.

In the hotspot function there’s a Maximise Compatibility option. Switch that on and your Apple device should appear in the list of Wi-Fi options on your fire tablet.
