When You want to activate the satellite radio in Your Ford F-150 You will need to give SiriusXM the radio ID that can be found in Your truck so they can activate the device. The satellite radio ID can be found by pressing menu on the dash, then going to Sirus. After that go to advanced settings and the radio ID will be displayed on the screen. SiriusXM is a good way to be able to listen to the radio wherever You go because with satellites You will always have reception. If You already have an account with them You can add Your new truck as one of Your devices and it should work fine and bring all Your settings to the truck.
