If You need to activate the Sirius radio in Your 2011 Ford F-150 then the first thing that You will need to do is find the radio's code. Every satellite radio has a serial number that allows You to activate it with Your Sirius account and connect it to the satellite network. To get the radio ID You will need to press the menu button then go to the Sirius menu. Next click on the advanced settings and then the ID will be displayed on the screen. You can then take this number and enter it on the Sirius site to register Your car with Your account and then it will activate all the features of the satellite radio system.

In 2011 there wasn’t a Sirius XM radio. It was either Sirius or XM. They didn’t merge until a few years later. Ford trucks were using Sirius radios in 2011. To find your ESN (Radio ID), press the “Sirius” button and “1” simultaneously. Your ESN will display on your radio screen.
