To replace the Rav4's sun visor, use a pick or small flathead screwdriver to release the plastic fastener cover in the upper left corner of the roof. Repeat the procedure for the upper right corner of the visor. Once released, carefully pull the assembly towards You until it snaps out of the Rav4's roof. The visor is connected by plastic clips. Sometimes clips break as they are removed but a new part will come ready installed with new clips. The piece is also equipped with a latch mounted and activated interior light. There is no need to replace this lamp. Rotate the new clips until they orientated correctly for re-inserting. Press into place until a "click" or "snap" is heard.
