We purchased a 2020 Rav4 XLE Premium Sept 2020 which worked fine until after I brought it to the dealership at 8K km for first dealer inspection and tire rotation. Two days later, the battery was dead - had to get a jump-start from Toyota roadside service. Brought it to the dealer for testing - no fault found. Note, neither the headlights nor interior lights were not left on to drain the battery. Two weeks later my wife notice that the heated seats which previously worked extremely well are barely warm on both driver and passenger sides (the rear seats are not heated in this model). We have not had a return of the dead battery issue and this August will bring the Rav4 in for its first oil change where we will ask the dealership to check the heating issue, This model does not have ventilated seats. All our problems began after our first scheduled dealer service visit.

Dependable, good gas mileage, easy to drive. I have lots of pottery equipment and rav4 holds it perfectly. I can cover up all of my equipment and leave it in the car so I do not have to hold and unload each class. I will always drive a Toyota and have for many years.

The ride is comfortable but I don't like the technology because it glitches out randomly and is very slow. For the price of the car id expect it to be more advanced in the technology department, its kind of sad. But in a year I'll be changing it to a different vehicle.

Perfect car for daily and long distance driving.
I haven't had a single problem with my car. I purchased the stock model and it comes with every perk I need. Apple carplay, back up camera, lane departure assist, etc. Incredibly spacious for a midsize SUV and it came with a cargo net to keep items from rolling around in my trunk.

Cargo Mat/Support under the mat
The folding support under the floor mat is about 1/2 narrower than it should be, so if you put anything in the back that weighs more than 40 lbs the support collapses. This should be a recall, depending on how heavy and how long the ride is, the support under mat will eventually be damaged and the mat will sit on top of the spare tire.

Why I love my car, and why you'd love it too!
I love how simple my car is. Not too flashy, but not too over the top either. It is reliable, and looks great. I can go fast when I need to and slow and chill when I need to. Overall I good diverse car. This makes it really fun to drive and I never really feel like getting tired of driving.

Not much room for car seats.
Very reliable car with great gas mileage. However, this car has an issue with the gas tank and there will likely be a recall/ replacement on some parts so it will have to be in the shop for some time to get it repaired even though it is a brand new 2020. Also, the back seat is spacious enough for passengers but two car seats do not fit very well without reducing front seat space.

This SUV rides great! Love the assist hatch opener. No heavy lifting, it raises all the way up. Push button to close. Had remote start added and love it but it seems dumb to have to have both the original key fob plus the new remote or the car will not start. Love the push button start and end.

The cruise control assist lets you set your speed.
I love the safety features; blind spot monitors, seat belt alerts, cruise control assist and backup camera. I haven't had any issues yet and it also gets great gas mileage. I really like how much space it has and how comfortable it is as well. I love the apple carplay feature as well as the navigation and speaker system.

The 2020 Toyota rav4, decent car, basic pricing, comes with glitter.
My vehicle is great for transportation of self and things! Super roomy and has a decent sized trunk, could be larger. The colors are not so cute. Very generic and boring. I like riding higher up on the freeway and feel like I can see everything. There are side mirror sensors and rear view reverse cameras and I seem to really appreciate that and utilize it often. The sound system is another definite perk! It comes equipped with Sirius radio for a time, FM/am/ Bluetooth capabilities and plug ins.

I love my blind spot detectors and my backup camera.
So far I have no issues. I have had the car for 5 months and it is the best car I have ever had, it is extremely reliable. Granted I have only ever had hand-me-downs and I am leasing a brand new car, but it is fantastic on gas; I usually take trips to see friends/family and those long trips are very comfortable. It has convenient electric seats and electric features on the heating and air conditioning which kicks in extremely quickly so it is nice to be able to adjust with ease.

This car is very smooth on the road. There are features to help provide you greater ease with driving that my dad usually uses. We used to have an older rav4 but brought this 2020 one and it is a good choice. The car can easily seat up to 5 people. Driving and comfort is both really good. I like the rear camera that helps when I am trying to park.

Excellent car with little to no issue.
The vehicle drives very smoothly. It has a very sleek and cool appearance. All of the features and accessories are very nice and feel very luxurious (the heated seats/backup camera/GPS system/etc). The only issue I have had is with the breaks. The breaks jerk whenever the pedal is pushed a certain way.

Rav4 XLE magnetic gray sport vehicle great for any weather.
Rav4 drives really smooth and feels safe with all the technology it provides: lane departure, blind mirror signals, speed limit, etc. Front of the car looks really sporty and big like the 4runner. Does not remind me of any of the older rav4. Can pass as an SUV.

Key fob issues but overall comfortable.
The features included are all really easy to use and aesthetically pleasing. My car came with the convenience package which was a really good upgrade. As far as reliability, my key fob did fail once within two months of owning it so I had to take it to the shop which was a pain. The mileage is great and the car is very spacious.

Having a major issue
I bought this car less than six months ago and have had to replace the windshield going on three times now. I’ve had many cars in my lifetime and I’ve never had to replace a windshield from something clicking on it, the first time it broke it was in the driveway and we have a security camera so someone didn’t break it. I’ve also been doing research online and this is happening to many other people so obviously Toyota needs to do something about their windshields. Otherwise the car is fantastic in every way, shape and form. But I have gotten absolutely no help from Toyota on this windshield issue so I will never buy another one of their cars no matter how amazing the rest of it is if they can help me with one single solitary thing which is the windshield. ?

Smooth, sleek, and ready for adventure!
I just recently bought this car, and have had it for 1 month. I love it! I picked it out because it was highly rated and recommended. I knew I wanted a midsize SUV since I live in Colorado and need a vehicle to haul camping, hiking, skiing, and kayaking gear easily. I love all the features that it has, my favorite being the cold weather package, which is heated seats, heated steering wheel, and heated de-icer for your windshield wipers. It also has apple CarPlay which is helpful to stay hands free when driving.

I would say is that, I do not like the fact it does not have controller starter. It sometimes feels like it changes gear when you go past 20 miles. I love the safety features. I feel safer knowing that my car will detect if a car is coming when I try to change lanes. I also like the cruise control.

I have not experienced any problems with my car at this time. I find my rav4 every comfortable and reliable at this time. I did buy the lowest package due to price restrictions at this time. Still comes with cruise control, adaptive cruise control, lane assist and different modes for snow, mud, ecosport and more. I am very happy with my vehicle.

Mistake in manufacturing - too small or too wide
The only issue I'm having is the support piece under the trunk mat. Someone measured incorrectly and the piece does not fit snug. There is about 1/2" gap, causing the support piece to fall if anything more than 30lbs in placed on top of it. Complained to the dealer, however, nothing they can do since its a manufacturing mistake

I cant leave the defogger fan on to heat windshield
Ok, I live in Iowa. I got the 2020 rav4 February 12, 2020. Winters are awful here. A lot of snow. Problem is I need the windshield defogger to be on full force so we can get the rav warm and melt snow and ice off the windshield. The fan defaults to another slower setting after we use the remote starter to turn the car on in the morning. This wont work for us. We bought a Viper remote start because our dealer wont put in remotes anymore installed by Ford and Garland Electonics in Des Moines. Another dealer installs remote starters but NOT a Toyota brand. There ought to be a way to reprogram the climate control panel. I dont know who the genius who was that thought this up but its not working out to put the settings on that I need but when I start the car they default to a slow fan setting. The service department at the dealer said sorry that just the way it is. WTH? Customer service at Toyota in Texas says sorry theres no way to reprogram it. This stinks. My wife is a NICU nurse that goes to work at 6:15am then gets home from work at 8pm. We need the fan to work on high. Please toyota help us our. Reengineer it, Please. I've looked today at Fords and Kia's and they dont have this issue. Rav4 is a lemon as it is. Gish. Normal cars dont do this. Our 2003 Saturn Vue didnt do this and thats what we replaced to get the 2020 rav4.

Disliked the car after 30 miles.
I rented a new Rav4 for two weeks. I disliked it after thirty miles. I hated it by day five. Does someone test the cars before they start manufacturing such junk. When you lower the rear windows, right, left or both I hear "whoa whoa whoa" sound. The slightest breeze causes insibility. The thing pulls all over the place. No idea if features can be turned off or not but 4-5 of them need to go away. So glad I'm getting my high mileage car back in a few days.

Brand new 2020 Toyota Rav 4 with brake issues
I haven't used this new vehicle for more than 1 month and I'm receiving brake light warning while driving. Contacted the dealership to diagnose the problem and I was told they will get back to me. It's been two days already, nobody has gotten back to me. This is obviously a lemon.

You can choose what to see on your odometer which I thought was pretty neat.
It is kid friendly, I feel safe inside and on the rode, has apple CarPlay, speakers are great, it is all terrain which is great, has blind spot lights on the mirrors, has the back facing camera at the rear end, a full tank of gas gives you at least 400 miles.

I love everything about my car however the XLE does not have the automatic back door lifter. It is manual and I was told that only XLE premium have that function. The other complaint is that when you stopped and hold the break completely down it turns off your car, it takes a bit getting used to. Overall love the car.

I got XLE but does not even have any extra features or a sunroof or a button to open my trunk for me at the very minimum. If a car is going to be XLE then it should come with all the cool features not just have them as optional or listed as “if equipped”. Does not make sense.

I do appreciate the large screen radio/rear camera view.
The vehicle is slightly less spacious in the back seat compared to a previously older model that we had. It has also been a little difficult trying to figure out how to get the bright headlights on. At times the autocorrect steering is a nuisance as well when trying to steer away from another swerving vehicle.

The car. Controlled cruise. Control is my favorite aspect of the car.
Reliable. Good gas mileage. Good in the winter. Is all wheel drive and runs smoothly both in town and on the highway. Nice touch screen for radio and navigation. 2020 rav4 on the beach - a++.
This is my first SUV and I love it. It is so easy to load things in and out of and has plenty of room for us to go for a weeks vacation or an extended camping trip. We take the rav out on the beaches of martha’s vineyard and it handles deep soft sand like a dream. I have driven on those beaches for 15 years and I wasn't worried taking the rav out. Nothing it couldn’t handle. The auto-stop and brake hold make traffic & commuting easier, and more fuel efficient.

Toyota rav4 review - stop/start gas saving feature.
I have driven Toyotas for as long as I can remember. They are very reliable cars. This is my second rav4, but my first XLE which I very much enjoy driving. However, there are two things I am not so crazy about - the rav4 engines are noisy, and I do not like the new start/stop feature on the 2020 model. Otherwise, so far, it is a very comfortable, reliable car with some new gadgets I am learning (e.G., apple car play).

The start/stop feature, which is very fuel efficient.
The car is super comfortable to drive. There are so many great features, especially the eco mode which can start/stop at long lights. The electronic features on the car are very user friendly, and easy to use. Since I do have nephews, I like that an alarm goes off in the back to make sure that their seat belts are on. There is also a lane shift feature, to make sure the driver is not steering off out of the lanes.

I love everything about my Toyota rav4. I am really pleased with the safety features like the smart cruise control and lane change alerts. I was disappointed with the leg room in this car,I previously owned a Honda CR-V and my husband said the Toyota rav4 was its equivalent,it's not. I also had trouble getting in the car, my head hits the frame. I like the rear camera and the self closing trunk, t makes it easier when your hands are loaded with groceries.

2020 rav4 XLE! A great and comfortable car experience.
The 2020 rav4 XLE is a very nice looking car. The passenger seat has a lot more legroom than my last car, which was a 2018 rav4 le. The back seats are very comfortable too, with even enough leg space for me, a 290 pound 6’4 male. The outside is very sleek and the red color looks expensive.

The rave 4 is a good vehicle.
He rav4 is one of the best vehicles I have ever owned. It runs smoothly and has a ton of safety features. It also has some great new features like lane verification and a hold feature when the vehicle is stopped that allows you to remove your foot from the break until it is time to move again. It also will drive itself when using cruise control.

I appreciate the quality, reliability, and stability of the rav4. Within the category of compact SUVs it has always stood out as a vehicle that is versatile, highly utilitarian, and meets a wide array of needs in an appropriately sized, affordable package. Additionally, the standard safety equipment included at base and lower trim levels means that a premium or near premium safety experience is available at affordable prices. The one complaint is that I wish the cabin better was insulated against both road and engine noise.

Love this SUV. It is great for around town or longer trips.
I love all the bells and whistles and great gas mileage. It rides very smoothly for a small SUV and the automated features are great. The seats are comfortable and is great for distance travel. I have had no mechanical or any other issues with this vehicle.

I love my new rav4! It is everything I want out of a vehicle. It is roomy, rides smooth, and is gorgeous. It also gets amazing gas mileage for a SUV which makes me extra happy. The engine is not too loud and being the le model, it does not have too much or too little when it comes to accessories.

It really has some get up and go.
Great gas mileage, comfortable seating, seats 5, spacious storage in back. Leather seats with great leg room. It has all the bells and whistles such as heated and cooled seats, sunroof, back up camera, alarms when you are too close to anything. Back window defroster and windshield wiper in back.

An interesting detail about the car is how easy it is to drive. It drives well.
I love my car! It is so great as an everyday vehicle because of how it able to carry of all of family and everything I need. Not to mention the money I save with due to the car being a hybrid! I only need to fill up almost only once a month as the fuel range of this car is so great. I love my car and you should consider it too!

Great design and smooth ride.
Smooth driver, comfortable, awesome features. Very reliable. Would buy again. Do not worry about it breaking down. Awesome stereo. Great headlights. Beautiful look. Never had a problem with the vehicle so far. Plenty of space for our needs. Cannot think of any cons at the moment. One of my favorite cars we have owned.

White and black 2020 Toyota rav4.
I love my rav4! There’s enough space for my two children both in car seats, which is great. We also have a lot of trunk space for groceries and strollers, which we definitely need in a vehicle. The gas mileage is not bad and all and the car has eco sport or normal mode to help with that as well. The back up camera is also a must, I cannot drive a car without it now.

Good spacious car with great handling but missing power of a traditional SUV.
The car is comfortable and versatile. Lots of space for traveling and has crossbars on the roof which is helpful for moving big objects. The engine is 200hp but does not feel too strong when merging onto the highway. The one time I drove in snow, handling was very good.

It has enough space both for people and cargo.
Awesome among the cars which I had since 52 years ago, it is the best. Engine, body, power and other things are fantastic and wonderful, besides. It is easy to drive both in cities and in outside the city. From point of gas, it is economy, in compare with other cars.

I love that apple CarPlay, the six months of SiriusXM radio, and backup camera.
I wish the standard model had heated front seats, and a sunroof/ panel, a push start and a the trunk door to close by itself. I feel like this should all come with a standard, I can understand the push start but everything else makes me disappointed in Toyota.

Amazing vehicle, would recommend to anyone!
Drives smooth, is quiet, spacious, and feels luxurious. The leather seats look great and the sunroof is a great addition. Features like apple carplay, lane assistant, brake hold, among many others make you feel like you are truly driving a luxury vehicle and advance piece of machinery and technology.

My vehicle has a safety software that helps keeps the vehicle in its lane.
The windshield should much stronger for the elements. The windshield cracked during a hail storm. This caused me to pay for the repairs. This should be included a plan for the consumers so that if an issue should occur during the first year of purchase there should be some type of coverage or compensation.

New 2020 rav4, stylish, affordable and luxurious.
My first car that I genuinely love! The inside is more luxurious than you would expect it to be. It looks like high end interior and my friends are all impressed. It drives quiet and smooth which is another thing I love about it. I would recommend it to some who are to a point where they are more responsible as it will be a car to last.

Toyota rav 4 le - personal review.
Toyota rav4 le is an excellent vehicle. It is great on gas. This vehicle has back up camera and Sirius radio. I bought it brand new from Toyota and they give me free oil changes and inspections for life as long as I have the vehicle. On a scale from 0-10 I rate the Toyota rav4 le a 9.

Family room drives smooth lots of storage backup camera great on gas I love the white with tan interior it seats 5 readily. Lots of cargo in the back. Full size spare tire. Has auto braking I love the cruise control features. Love how high it sits up off road.

Spacious but compact luxury right in your garage.
This vehicle is comfortable and roomy but compact for easy parking and driving. The technology easily syncs with your phone, music, and keeps you safe. The heated seats and moonroof are a luxury. The sound system is great with no upgrade. There are many new safety features that help make long or busy commutes feel less tedious.

The size for storage, and seating.
I enjoy the size of the car. Enough to seat five people, and easy to store things in the trunk. Great for when I am moving apartments, and/or traveling with friends/family. I am also able to put large objects in the back which is nice. I like the look of the car, the feel of it, and it drives great. I receive great mileage.

It will have to do right now until the recalls get paid and fix.
Got it in July it is December and it is already making noises after getting its first mainstream done since then it is has not been driving new you can hear the engine stalling on the roads. It does not have much power going up hills. You have to put down on the gas to accelerate.

For the price you pay, it is pretty luxurious.
The performance is great on normal or sport mode. When set on eco it does take time to accelerate but saves gas in the long run. It is luxurious on the inside and definitely is up to par. I love the beige interior of the car but wish I chose the leather.

If you are on the fence about buying a Toyota rav4, just go for it.
I haven't had any issues since I bought my Toyota rav4 back in July. It seems very reliable and safe. It has automatic braking and automatic high beam dimmers. It is good on gas especially for an SUV. I am really glad I decided to go with a rav4! If you are on the fence about buying one go for it!

The positive and negative.
The engine is only a 4 cylinder.. Could use a bigger engine. Seats could be a little more comfortable. The passenger seat does not have powerful seat control. For the money, I feel that it makes the car seem. Not as luxurious as it should be. The mileage for highway driving is excellent!

Toyota rav4 hybrid review.
Awesome car. Love every aspect of it. I wish it had a third row for seating, but it is a smaller SUV and I knew that when I purchased it. I drive a lot for work and it is absolutely great on gas. Averaging 550 miles per tank on it. A big plus to me is the fact that the vehicle has apple car on it. It is very easy to use and makes the car ride much more enjoyable.

It rides great gets good gas mileage when traveling long distances. Seats are very comfortable. There is plenty of room in backseat and trunk area has alot of space. Speakers have. Good sound when you turn it up loud. Has a lot of good features like cruise control.
