When your Toyota Tundra goes into limp mode it is usually because the ECU has detected a serious problem with the engine. It will put the vehicle in limp mode to help protect the engine and other components from any serious damage. Usually when your truck goes into limp mode you will also get a check engine light that will turn on at your dash. When this happens you will need to use an OBD II scan tool to read the code to determine what has gone wrong. The only way to get out of limp mode is to use an OBD II scan tool to clear the code. However if it is a serious code it will immediately come back until you replace the damaged part.

It’s typical of the secondary injection valve, this is the third time. It goes into limp mode and you can only go slow
