Using a jack to lift the Escape is very straightforward. All Youll need to do is locate the pinching points on the bottom of the vehicle. These are located at the corners of the car, and are very easy to recognize. If You cant find them, Your owners manual should tell You exactly where the points are. Whip out Your jack and place it at the correct location under the car. Then, make sure Your jacks lifting points are aligned with the cars lifting points. These can be found near the rear trailing arms. Make sure the jacks connection to the vehicle is secure and crank until the car is elevated.

Place the car jack at a suitable jacking point. Lift the escape high enough so that a jack stand slides into a suitable, safe jacking point.
