If You want to make Your Ford Ranger with the 2.3L engine faster then the best way to do that is to install aftermarket parts. There are new intakes that can increase throttle response by allowing more air into Your engine. There are also new exhausts You can put on the vehicle that will improve the airflow out of the engine and allow it to make more power. You can also do things like upgrade the spark plugs to ones that burn hotter and that can help improve power from the engine. There are not a ton of options on the market to make the truck faster, but these are the few that can add a bit more performance to Your truck.
