You might find Yourself someday needing to move one of the power seats in Your Ford Escape manually. It is somewhat easy to do, and should only take about 8 to 10 minutes. Using an impact wrench, remove two bolts that are at the rear of the seat. Push the seat completely back. Remove a second set of bolts from the area at the front of the seat rails. Finally, disconnect Your battery. It is important that You wait until this step before doing so. Now, lift the seat to remove it.

To manually move a power seat in a ford escape you first have to take the side covers off the seat. Then put a screwdriver in the control. Finally turn the screwdriver in order to move the seat.
