To open the gas tank on the Ford Edge You will need to press inward on the right side of the fuel door which is located on the driver side in the rear. On certain models You are able to simply pull. The fuel tank capacity ranges from 18.4 to 18.5 gallons requiring regular unleaded gasoline. You can fuel the 2019 model with premium to have a power output of 245 hp @ 5,500 rpm and torque of 275 lb-ft @ 3,000 rpm. It is equipped with a turbocharged 2.0L 4Cylinder engine and 8-speed automatic transmission. You have the choice of running it in manual mode or Sport mode. The ST has a twin-turbocharged 2.7L V6 with AWD producing a power of 335 hp @ 5,550 rpm and torque of 380 lb-ft @ 3,250 rpm. The fuel economy for the latter is 21/28 MPG and for the former, 19/26 MPG, both using regular gasoline.

To open the gas tank go to the tank lid. Push on the lid from the right side this will cause the lid to spring open. You can then remove gas cap and begin fueling.
