There are three ways to go about opening the trunk on the BMW 650i. To start You can use the keys and insert them into the lock on the back of the trunk. This is the traditional way of doing this. The other option that You have is to use the button on the inside of the cab of the car. Look for the button with an open trunk icon on it. Press this and You will open the trunk. If this does not work then the fuse is bad and needs to be replaced. Finally, You can use the button on the key fob itself. This will open the trunk from range and should work even in the house.

To open the trunk of your BMW 650I, depress the unlock button on your remote keyfob.

No answer but the problem with mine is struts were just installed ( thought that was the problem) and the trunk is still latching and unlocking but the truck does not pop up at all. I have to curl my fingers and pry it, and it's a d**n heavy trunk. Thanks Cheryl 2015 BMW 650i convertible

I don't have an answer but have the problem of trunk will unlock but it won't do the pop to get your hands under to lift. Struts were just replaced because I thought that may have been the problem. I noted the fuse selections but was curious if there could be something easier. Thanks! Cheryl 2015 650i convertible M series
