If the battery in Your Cadillac CTS is dead and You're standing there futility pounding on the transmit key on Your FOB... Don't fret! You can simply use the ignition key to manually unlock the door to Your Caddy. But what if You don't have an ignition key You actually probably do! Look beneath the "Trunk Open" button, and You should see a thin button. Push that. Then, grab hold of the bottom end of the key FOB and pull it outwards... And it should reveal the key for the door! Just insert that into the driver's side lock and do what You need to do from there, like sitting in a warm car and waiting for someone with jumper cables to show up.

To enter a Cadillac CTS with a dead battery, you can check the Cadillac CTS main transmitter. Look right under the "Pop trunk" button. You're going to see a small click. ... Grasp the bottom of the main transmitter. Pull the end back. Place the door key in the driver's side lock holder. Turn the key to the left to open the latch.
Well that's a pretty easy one you put your key in the door and you turn it to the right leave it to the right it will pop up the driver's side door that is the only way to open it! I do not suggest putting a jump start box on the vehicle it is so computerized it will start flashing blinking popping lights everywhere, so again I repeat be careful what you do they are sensitive and they are the actual first smart car out there that car learns from you! Read up on your car before you do anything I love Cadillacs I love the CTS car but they are very temperamental when it comes to doing things the right way they have a certain way to do everything or it sends everything into a limp mode. Which keep your anti-theft deterrent stuck on

Mines a 2012 you just pull the back seat forward with the pullstring located beside both of the back seats. There's a handle right under the middle speaker. Full towards the front of the car it will Unlatch.
