The gas tank on the Santa Fe 2017 can be found towards the rear side of the car, above the driver side rear tire. To pop it open, You can either manually open the tanks panel, or pop it open using the cars controls. To pop it open, find a small latch located on the bottom side of the arm rest. This is on the driver-seat side of the car. It is placed underneath the arm rest. Simply pull this latch to pop open the gas tanks door. If You cant find the latch, or arent sure what You should do, consult Your owners manual. This should contain a detailed document or schematic, telling You exactly where the latch is.

To open the gas tank on a 2017 hyundai santa fe on the inside of the driver's side door. The latch will be toward the front bottom part of the arm rest on the door. Pull this latch toward you, and it will open the fuel door.
