How to open hood on Subaru Legacy?

Opening the hood for Your Subaru Legacy will be a two step process. You'll first need to located the hood release switch which will be on the interior of the vehicle. You can find it on the passenger's side dashboard on the far left and above the gas pedal. Once You press this switch You will now need to head to the outside of the vehicle and with one hand lift the hood and up with the other hand located the release latch which is going to be directly centered with the Subaru emblem.

To open the hood on the Subaru Legacy, pull the hood release lever, then pull the latch under the hood of the vehicle to pull open.

Under front left side of dash is the trunk release

NO...It is not on the passenger side. The latch is on the *DRIVERS side of the inside of the car.

Hood release is DRIVER side left on dashboard inline with foot rest
