How to open hood Subaru Forester?

In order to open the hood on a Subaru Forester, You'll first need to, from the driver's seat of the vehicle, pull the hood release lever found under the bottom left side of the dash. On the kick panel, You'll see an icon that indicates where the hood release lever is -- it is, predictably, a picture of a car with the hood open. Once You pull the lever found underneath, You'll hear the hood release. One more step; You'll need to exit the Forester and pull the hood release latch to the left to fully open the hood. In contrast to some vehicles, it's not found in the gap created by the hood opening. You'll find it inside of the grille, just behind the emblem toward the right side.
