On the older models of the Nissan Altima if You're dealing with a dead battery and want to get in to Your trunk You'll simply need to put the key in to the lock and turn. Then once it's unlocked You can pull up on the lever to open it. If You have a newer model that does not have a key hold on the trunk You're going to need to open the door using Your physical key and then once You get in to the rear of the vehicle You can then fold down the back seats in order to access Your trunk.
I can’t figure out how to open the trunk of my 2008 Nissan Altima with a dead battery! None of these suggestions works. Please help!!

To open the trunk in a Nissan Altima with a dead battery use the key cylinder on the trunk.

I am experiencing this now on my 2013 Altima. Battery is dead, no key access to the trunk, to lay down the back seats you have to release them from inside the trunk. To get to my jumper cables .
Is there a key cylinder anywhere on the outside of trunk??

I have a 2019 Ultima my battery died and I can’t unlock the rear seat access because that’s in the trunk too how do I get into the trunk where my jumper cables are
