To reset the oil life on Your 2010 Mazda3 turn Your ignition key to the ON position without starting the engine. If Your vehicle has a smart key button, press the Start button twice without touching the brake pedal. Select "Application" on the center dash screen to enter the menu. Then select "Maintenance". Finally select "Reset", then select yes to confirm. This will reset the remaining distance to the initial value. It needs to be reset whenever replacing the engine oil. Your vehicle calculates the remaining oil life based on the engine operating conditions and lets You know when an oil change is due by illuminating the wrench indicator light in the instrument cluster.
