Resetting the oil life indicator for Your 2016 HyundaiAccent is going to be a very simple task. You'll first need to give the vehicle power and once You do You should notice that You see a service required warning. If You see this warning then located the OK button on Your steering wheel and then hold it down for 5 seconds. You'll notice the the instrument panel is blinking in the location that shows Your miles and days for the trip meter. This light will be Your cue to let go of the button. Now quickly press the button again and hold it down for one more second. This light should now be reset but if You're still dealing with the issue You should try these steps a second time but hold down the button longer.

To reset the oil life light in a hyundai accent you will start the vehicle. Press and hold the ok button for 5 seconds. Release the ok button, then press and hold it again for 1 second. The oil change light will then reset.
