To get started with resetting the oil life indicator on Your Mazda6 You'll first need to enter the driver's side of the vehicle, close the door, and give the vehicle power but do not start up the engine. Now located the trip button which is going to be on Your dashboard and hold it down. While keeping this button held down You'll now want to start up the engine for the vehicle with Your other hand. After some time You'll see a light flashing on Your dashboard. This light is to signify that the process was executed successfully. If this did not work the first time go ahead and give it a second go.

To reset the 2016 mazda 6 oil light indicator, press and hold the trip button with the ignition turned off. Continue to keep the trip button and turn on the ignition. After 5 seconds, the master alarm light pulses for a few seconds to signify that the reset is complete. Switch off the ignition and start the engine to check that the sensor has been reset.
