Resetting the 2016 Volvo XC60 oil light is a very simple process. First Youll need to turn Your ignition to the first position. After that, push and hold down the trip odometer reset button. Hold down the trip button for ten seconds and then let go when the info lamp starts to blink. Youll hear a beep when and if the reset worked, and the SRI light will turn off. Next, You need to turn off the ignition for at least three minutes and start the car to make sure that the indicator has been correctly reset. Theres nothing else to do from here, so Youre all set to go.

To reset 2016 Volvo XC60 maintenance indicator: 1. Insert key in slot below ignition button. 2. Press the ignition button once (to position 1). 3. Press and hold the OK (trip odometer reset) button on the turn signal stalk. Press the ignition button and hold until all dash panel lights come on (to position 2). 4. Continue to hold the OK button for 10 seconds. Release the OK button when the information light (yellow letter i inside a square at the center of the dash panel) starts to flash. 5. Audible beep will be heard when resetting has been successful and the information light turns off. 6. Turn the ignition off for 3 minutes and then start the engine to verify the indicator has been reset.

To perform an oil reset on the 2016 volvo xc60 you need to turn it on, but do not start the engine. Find the reset button on the console dash and hold it. When the light blinks and stops turn the vehicle off and wait 5 min. Your oil is now reset.
