On the 2017 HyundaiAccent, to reset the oil life first turn the the ignition to the ON position. Use the Mode button on the lower right hand side of the steering wheel to show the maintenance section on the display. Choose reset using the select button. Restart the car and the reset is complete. The typical service interval for the oil, as mentioned in the owner's manual , is every 7,500 miles. The oil capacity iS3.8 quarts of SAE 5W-20 synthetic motor oil. This quantity is including the filter. SAE 5W-30 motor oil can also be used though the former is preferred. A standard spin-on cannister style filter is used with a thread size of M20 X1.50.

To reset the oil life light in a 2017 Hyundai Accent you will start the vehicle. Press and hold the OK button for 5 seconds. Release the OK button, then press and hold it again for 1 second. The oil change light will then reset.
