Replacing the fuel pump on a 2000 Ford F-250 is a moderately hard task to do because You will need to drop the fuel tank from the vehicle to get to it. You will first need to drain all of the fuel out of Your tank using a siphon pump so that it is lighter. After that You will need to lift Your truck either on jack stands or using a lift. With that done You will need to remove the heat shield and strapping from the bottom side of the truck at the rear. When that is off You can finally lower the tank. Once the fuel tank is down You can access the top of it where You can get to the fuel pump.
