First, You need to buy a replacement heater core for Your 2000 Ford F-250, if You haven't yet done so. You can snag one for around $45 from O'Reilly's or similar. The core for Your vehicle's going to be seven and a half inches wide by seven and three quarter inches high, with a depth of 2 inches. Open Your glove box, and remove the SRX screws that surround the cover; You'll need an 8 mm wrench for this. You'll be able to remove the cover, and You'll have access to the heater core. Be careful with the plastic connectors as You remove this: Push in the white plastic tabs and pull gently at the same time; the core should slide out, and You can put the new one in.
