Replacing the brake booster on a Ford Edge is a complicated process. If You can it is recommended that You take the car to the shop and let them do it. This will cost You about 500, but it will save You a lot of hassle. If You do not want to do this then You will need a few things. Get a metric set of sockets, a metric set of wrenches, A couple of flathead screwdrivers and a Phillips screwdriver, Pliers, a Rubber mallet, and an adjustable wrench. Start by removing the air cleaner and battery, then pull off the cowl panel and wipers. Next, remove the intake master cylinder. Under this, You will see the brake booster itself. This will be held in place by two bolts and some wires. Remove those and pull it out, then put the new one in. Replace all the parts in reverse order and You are done.
