It sounds like You want to replace the 12 volt power outlet in the cigarette lighter on Your Ford Focus. Before You go to this extreme, make sure to check if You've just got a blown fuse prohibiting it from functionally properly. First, remove the radio bezel, and then remove the ashtray. Remove the radio. Unplug the cables from the cigarette lighter and the light bulbs.
