To reset the maintenance light on the 2004 Toyota Solara first turn the key to the ON position without starting the engine. When using the START/STOP button, be sure not to touch the brake pedal pressing the button twice to turn the ignition on. Press the odometer/trip button located on the instrument cluster until You see ODO on the LCD display. Turn the ignition off. Next, press and hold the trip button and turn the ignition back on. Keep the button pressed until the odometer miles resets to zero. The maintenance light should then turn off. Turn the car off and on again to be sure that the message has cleared.

To reset the maintenance light on 2004 toyota solara: do not step on the brake. Press and release the start button. If the odometer is not illuminated, press the start button again. Place the odometer to trip a. Press and release the start button (odometer should no longer be illuminated). Press and hold the odometer set button. Press and release the start button while holding the odometer button. If the odometer is not illuminated, press the start button again while still holding the odometer button. Keep holding the odometer button until the countdown completes. This should result in a cleared maintenance required light the next time you start your car.
