Resetting the oil life in Your Honda CR-V is easy to do. It will only take around 5 to 7 minutes of Your time. The first thing You will need to do is go to the driver's side of Your vehicle, and get inside. Next, turn the ignition into the on position while preventing actual cranking of the engine. Now, push down the trim stem. It will display the oil life for the motor. Push it down one more time, holding it down until Your diplay screen begins blinking. This will take around 12 to 25 seconds to occur. Now, turn the trip meter to the option "reset" and choose it. Your oil life should now be reset.

To reset the oil life in a honda crv, turn the ignition so it's in the first position, but the vehicle is off. Press the trim stem so it shows engine oil life. Press again and hold it down until the display starts to blink, which should be about 20 seconds. Turn the trip so you can choose the reset option. Push down and hold the trip stem once again for 5 seconds and it should be reset.
