If You need to reset the radio code in a Ford Fiesta then the first thing You will need to do is view the serial number. To find the serial You will need to press and hold the 1 and 6 or 2 and 6 buttons on the dash depending on the year for Your car. Once You have that number displayed on the screen You can contact a Ford dealership and give them that, along with Your VIN, and they should be able to provide You with a code that can unlock the radio. Radio codes are used to help prevent theft in a vehicle so that You do not wind up having Your stereo stolen and put into another one.
Press the hour button, and release it when a 4-digit code is shown. Press the mode button and put on the stereo deck.

Make sure the radio is on and press and hold buttons 1 and 6 for a few seconds. Wait about 20 seconds before you can see the serial number on the screen.
I have 2012 fiesta and can not get code either of those methods. Do I need to take to dealer?
