Generally, the mechanic servicing Your vehicle will reset the oil life on Your 2018 Ford Focus. However, if they don't do it, or if You change the fluid Yourself, You can easily reset the light in a couple minutes. Make sure the vehicle is parked and all doors are closed. Turn the key in the ignition to ON, but don't start the engine. If You have an ignition button in Your car, press it once, but don't put Your foot on the brake. Press down on the gas and brake at the same time and hold them down for 25 seconds. At this point, the Service: Oil Reset Complete message should show up on the display. You can release the pedals now. Turn the ignition to off. Check to make sure the reset has been completed and saved by starting the engine to see if the light is off.

To reset the oil light on the 2018 ford focus, you will need to get in your vehicle and close the doors. Then, you'll turn the key to position 2. Shortly after, you'll get another message indicating the process is complete.
