First, park the car and make sure it is stationary. Then, insert the key into the ignition slot and set it to RUN. This will turn the cars accessories on, but the engine should still be off. Then, push and hold down the RKE transmitters buttons simultaneously. The RKE should have both lock and unlock buttons, both of which need to be pushed and held. Holding down these buttons should trigger the car to enter the TPMS mode. This should also prompt the horn to sound twice. Now, simply deflate and re-inflate Your tires to reset the Tire pressure on Your 2009 Chevy Malibu. If Youre having trouble with this procedure, consult Your owners manual to find a detailed walk-through.
