The Mitsubishi Outlander has eco-mode which will allow You to drive the vehicle and have the better fuel economy. To turn off eco mode You will start at the Home menu and tap apps then go to settings. From there You will see the battery icon and press that which will take You to another screen where You can disable or enable the Eco-Mode. This will help with fuel consumption by lowering the RPMs of the car. Most consumers have said there is not a real difference in the way it performs while driving in the city with stop and go traffic but it will make a difference on long road trips or heavy highway driving. You may notice a difference when You press the gas pedal as it will try to keep the RPMs so that You do not use as much fuel during the acceleration.

Theres a button identical and to the right of it that has a leaf with the words eco mode in green it right under the radio display panel.
