In order to turn the eco mode off on a 2019 Chevy Malibu, simply press the button with the snowflake icon. If the LED light is green just below the snowflake picture who means eco mode is on. Pressing it one time will return the air conditioning to the default setting. Pressing the button one more time will turn it on to comfort mode, the LED light will be amber in color. While in this mode the engine shut off frequency in duration will be decreased and cooling will be optimized. When the button is pushed again it goes into the eco mode, while in this mode the frequency and duration of the engine shut off is increased and the air conditioning is optimized for increased efficiency.

To turn off Eco Mode, here's how to do it: 1. Locate the Eco Mode Button: The Eco Mode button is typically situated on your dashboard or center console, and has the “ECO” label on it and a green leaf icon. 2. Press the Button: A single press of the Eco Mode button will turn off the feature. You might see an indicator light on the dashboard extinguishing, signaling the deactivation of Eco Mode. 3. Confirm that it’s turned off: To ensure Eco Mode is turned off, pay attention to the vehicle’s performance. You should notice a difference in throttle response and possibly fuel efficiency as the car operates without the constraints of Eco Mode. 4. Some considerations: Keep in mind that disabling Eco Mode may result in slightly lower fuel efficiency (as I mentioned above), but it can provide a more immediate acceleration response, especially if you are driving on a highway and need the fast acceleration.
