Turning off the hill start assist on Your Ford Transit is an easy task to accomplish. It should only take about 4 to 7 minutes of Your time. The first thing You will need to do is get into the driver's side of Your vehicle, and look at the control panel on Your dashboard. Locate the Vehicle Dynamics Control mode switch. Press down and hold this switch until You see the VDC OFF light illuminate. The light will go through an array of colors, beginning with green, then yellow, where it will remain for about 8 to 12 seconds. Then, the light will go off, and Your hill start assist will no longer function.
